Responsibilities
- Oversees all skydiving operations, collaborating with a Stunt Coordinator
- Manages CAA Applications for non-parachute centre operations
- Develops and maintains Operations Manual (SSP or BS)
- Creates SOPs (Specific to each sequence)
- Conducts comprehensive Risk Assessments
- Ensures compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- NOTAM applications
- Selects team members, verifying backgrounds and certifications
- Facilitates parachute equipment approvals
- Secures camera equipment approvals
- Handles modification approvals for parachute and camera equipment
- Approves props and costumes for skydiving purposes
- Conducts Safety Briefings & Emergency Procedures
- Implements Training and Safety protocols
- Negotiates with parachute centre owner for DZ and aircraft support costs.
- Manages Budget Control effectively
Safety Officer (BS Examiner) – £800 daily fee without any buyouts
Responsibilities
- Operates under the guidance of a Skydiving Coordinator or a Stunt Coordinator and the Chief Instructor of the parachute centre
- Ensures operational compliance with the Operations Manual & SOPs
- Coordinates with the parachute centre for manifesting & aircraft allocation
- Manages staff effectively
- Performs thorough documentation checks
Instructors, Riggers & Stunt Doubles – £600 daily fee without any buyouts
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Skydiving Coordinator, Safety Officer, or Stunt Coordinator
- Operates within the parameters of their qualifications
DZ Controllers & Packers – £400 daily fee without any buyouts
Responsibilities
- Assists the Skydiving Coordinator, Safety Officer, or Stunt Coordinator
- Works within the limits of their qualifications as ground support
- Acts as a liaison with ATC during jump operations
